Tim Crosby, Attorney
Timothy J. Crosby was raised in rural Southern Illinois. Tim’s family is split between attorneys and teachers. His father and oldest sister are all successful attorneys, while his mother and other two sisters’ educators. By his family’s example, Tim learned that a true measure of what it means to be successful is to help those around you and in your community. This idea is the foundation to his practice.
Tim attended the University of Illinois. After graduating moved to Appalachia to serve impoverished communities of Southwest West Virginia. He then earned his law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law. While studying he was able to gain experience in the federal court clerk system and clerked for personal injury firms, including spending a summer as a clerk in Savannah, GA.
Tim landed in Chattanooga and immediately felt at home. After years of working exclusively in the Chattanooga area, Tim has now linked up with this tremendous team of trial attorneys in John Whitfield, Chuck Flynn, and Sarah Bearden to represent clients throughout Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and beyond.
However, helping the community we live in is a cornerstone principle for Tim. With the desire to invest and help the people of Hamilton County and the surrounding area Tim has become of counsel with Best and Brock.
First and foremost, Tim is a trial attorney. His practice focuses on all matters of personal injury and wrongful death; with a focus in trial work and research and writing. He understands the focus and care required to seek justice for those who are dealing with tragic injury or death.
Outside of the office, Tim enjoys any opportunity to be outdoors, especially with family and friends.
